"I want to get barreled… preferably a lot. But seriously, I want to work to the best of my ability to grow as much as a surfer as I do a person," says Asher Pacey, who has lived a large majority of his teenage years in a beach shack on the NSW North Coast, existing without electricity or phone and surviving on a staple diet of fish and vegetables.

This organic coastal lifestyle has no doubt contributed enormously to his reputation as one of the world’s premier free surfers.  Asher also impresses with his alternative pursuits of fossicking for crystals and making impressive jewellery, farming and an abundant knowledge of Australian flora and fauna.
