What’s a road trip to Mexico without a costly transmission repair, a broken camera screen topped off with a staph infection in the scorching heat? Nothing could have prepared the guys for the mind-rolling setbacks that were endured in the first couple of weeks on the road. Amongst it all, the guys were able to take the setbacks as opportunities to properly slow down and immerse themselves in the beautiful surroundings whilst on the search for empty waves. We had the pleasure of hearing about it firsthand from the man behind the lens, Nick, who was keeping us as updated as possible amid the roadside mishaps.
